Odysseus and his men leave Circe's island and head to the under world to see the blind prophet, Teiresias. He sacrifices a strong handsome goat, because Circe told him to do it in order to talk to Teiresias. During his journey into the underworld, Odysseus saw his mother's soulwho committed suicide. Then he sees Teiresias, the blind prophet. He tells Odysseus that Posideon is puninshing people for blinding his cyclops son, Polyphemus. He also reveals Odysseus' fate: that he will return home and reclaim his palace and wife from suitors who have taken over, not to touch the cattle on the island of the sun god (Helios), and the monsters he'll face.
